THEFT IN OUR AREA


On May 9, 2013, at approximately 1441 hours, Cass County Deputies were dispatched to NeCo Seed Farms located at 28700 South State Route T in rural Garden City, MO for a reported vehicle theft that had occurred sometime between 1700 hours on April 1st and 1400 hours on the 9th. Taken was a red 1997 International 4700 straight truck with a black 20 foot flatbed, VIN: 1HTSCAAM8VH435285, and Missouri license:42B-7GB. The truck is further described as a single cab with a dent in the driver’s door, a single rear axle and white wheels. The truck will also have modern flame design on the hood that is gold flake paint with a blue outline.
 
Another theft report from the Drexel area…….The Drexel, Missouri Police Department is currently investigating the theft of a red, 1997 Ford 80F tandem axle truck with a Scramm 660 drill rig on the back and extending over the cab. The truck at the time of the theft had an Oklahoma license plate of 113630 and a VIN of 1FDZY82E7VVA16869 and is valued at $250,000.00.  The theft occurred between Monday, April 8th and Friday April 26th from 700 N. Holmes, Drexel, Missouri. The owner of the rig is Canary Resources and the name “WELL REFINED DRILLING” “Thayer, Kansas” is printed on both doors of the cab.
