Katy Trail Ride to begin in Clinton




Katy Trail Ride Begins in Clinton 

There will be Over 350 bike riders will be arriving in Clinton on Sunday, June 16, to leave on the Katy Trail Ride beginning Monday morning, June 17. The Benson Center is headquarters for all riders and personnel accompanying them on the ride.

Sponsored by Missouri Department of Natural Resources and Missouri State Parks, this is the 13th year for the 253 miles bike ride. Breakfast and Dinner each day is supplied by support staff. Trucks will transport the riders’ luggage and equipment along the way. Some riders choose to camp along the trail; others opt to be transported to hotels.
Registration for the ride opens on March 1 each year and this year it sold out in five days. The ride ends this year in St. Charles and alternates beginning and ending points each year.


The public is welcome to visit with riders at the Benson Center on Sunday afternoon or first thing Monday morning. The group will be heading out at approximately 9 a.m. from the Katy Trailhead located on 52 Hwy at the edge of Clinton. See more information

The Greater Area Clinton Chamber of Commerce/Tourism will be present at the Benson Center to greet the riders and families and welcome them to Clinton.
