Corporal Michael Hicks of the Vernon County Sheriff's Department was given an award for Deputy of the year by the Elks Lodge last night in Nevada. Congratulations to Corporal Hicks and thank you for all your hard work!! And thank you to the Elks Lodge for recognizing the men and women in public safety.
