The Bates County Sheriff's Office currently has two part-time Communications Officers positions open and one part-time Detention Officer position open. Pay is $10.00 per hour.
Communication Officers and Detention Officers MUST be able to multi-task . Must have be able to pay attention to detail, have good verbal skills, be able to handle high volume calls, and tolerate stressful situations.
