Giving Fore Living for Donor Awareness Month: Kevin Jacobs

Kevin Jacobs: a Donor Legacy

The Giving Fore Living Committee would like to honor Kevin Jacobs this week in our article. Kevin Jacobs, the 24-year-old son of Stewart and Kerrie Jacobs of Butler, Missouri and Toni and Eldo Eaglen of Milan, MO loved spending time with his fiancé Kaycee Trevino and their beautiful daughter, Keylee Jacobs. Kevin became an organ donor at a very young age. On August 30, 2014, he was pronounced brain dead from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. Even though this was a tragic loss for his family, his donation of his organs saved the lives of 5 people. He also gave the gift of sight as well as bone, bone marrow, veins and skin to as many as 50 people. Through his gift of life, he lives on in the people he saved and in the memories of his family and friends.

The third annual banquet will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015, at the Adrian Optimist Building in Adrian, MO. The golf tournament will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 and Sunday, June 14, 2015, at the Butler Country Club in Butler, MO. Please join us in celebration of his life and help promote the gift of life through organ donation.
