Date for CLOSING Bates County Route B Bridge Now Week of June 29‏th

MoDOT, Southwest District - The Bates County Route B bridge at Mission Branch Creek near Rich Hill will CLOSE to traffic starting Monday, June 29, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

This is a new date for the closing of this bridge.

A second bridge, Bates County Route H at Mound Branch Creek east of Butler remains scheduled to CLOSE beginning Tuesday, May 26.

Both bridges will be closed until mid-August as contractor crews tear down the deteriorating structures and replace them.

Drivers are urged to find alternate routes to get around the bridge closings. No signed detours are planned.

Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the bridge closings.

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
