Bates County Memorial Hospital: Ramona Snyder retires

CEO Ed Hannon and Ramona Snyder
After 20 years of combined service to Bates County Memorial Hospital, Ramona Snyder was honored with a retirement party on July 1, 2015. Ramona was employed in the Medical Records Department as an Accredited Records Technician from 1974 to 1978. She returned to the hospital in the Medical Records Department in 1999. In her capacity as a RHIT, Ramona performed medical transcription as well as other duties within the department. Whenever you see Ramona, you will always be greeted by a smiling face and a warm hello. Ramona has demonstrated exceptional work ethic and positive support to the hospital. While she will be greatly missed by her coworkers, Ramona is excited to enjoy the next phase of her life. She plans to be more involved with volunteer activities in the community and church as well as spending time with her family and friends. On behalf of the hospital and Board of Directors, Mr. Ed Hannon, CEO presented Ramona with an engraved retirement plaque. Rather than receiving the traditional clock as a retirement gift, Ramona asked that the money be donated to the Bates County Community Health Foundation (BCCHF).
