The
Rich Hill Youth Development Center (RHYDC) is a facility with the
Missouri Division of Youth Services (DYS)and is located in Rich
Hill. It is a 24 bed residential treatment facility for boys ages 11
to 17.
The
mission of the Division of Youth Services is to enable youth to
fulfill their needs in a responsible manner within the context of and
with respect for the needs of the family and the community. DYS
programs are established to provide the mandated services enumerated
in Chapter 219.016 in the Revised Statutes of the state of Missouri.
These services include assessment, care and treatment, and education
of all youth committed to its care.
The
Community Liaison Council is a group of volunteer citizens that are
involved with and support activities for the youth . They are
hosting a fund-raising activity to generate funds to help support
monthly activities for the youth which may include pizza parties,
birthday recognition and providing gifts at Christmas.
Tickets
are now on sale to win a set of Firestone tires valued at $500.
Tires may be redeemed from any of the 36 firestone dealerships in the
Kansas City area to include Lee’s Summit, Raymore and the Joplin
dealership.
You

deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, February 28, 2016 by 5 p.m.
Your
ticket will be mailed to you so be sure and include your return
address. Any and all Free Will contributions or donations will be
appreciated.
The
drawing will be held on Friday, February 28. The winner will be
notified by phone.
