Former Butler man arrested for drug possession‏ in Nevada

A warrant was issued Thursday afternoon for a Nevada man who was arrested by investigators with the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office at a residence on Pine Street in Nevada. According to Sheriff’s Office officials, Christopher L Foster, 32 of Nevada has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, a C Felony. According to Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher, investigators had been watching a residence for suspected drug sales since a search warrant was served at the same residence last summer.

“We served a search warrant at this house a while back, but drugs are still coming out of it so we started working on it again” said Mosher.

The Sheriff said suspected methamphetamines, scales, and small plastic baggies commonly used for packaging for sales were all located in the home. Fosters bond has been set by the courts at $10,000 cash or surety.
