Weather update: Frigid Sunday for all

A shot of Arctic air is on its way. Temperatures will steadily fall through the day on Saturday. That means we'll see a midnight high tonight and then down periscope until Sunday morning. Wind chills by then will drop below zero for just about everyone. Easily the coldest temps of the season so far.

One more thing....a band of snow is expected to move from southwest through central and east central MO on Saturday. There will be a sharp edge to the band with the northwest edge near a Clinton to Sedalia to Moberly line.

Could see 1/2" to 1" of snow from there to Fayette and Boonville. Heavier snows will be further east. Rest of the region trace amounts at best.
