Fred Ray Orr, Jr., 75, Harrisonville, Missouri died Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2016 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville. (Cremation to follow). Fred was born February 17, 1940 in Harrisonville to Fred Ray and Sarah Mae (Brewster) Orr. He was a 1957 graduate of Harrisonville High School. He worked for AT&T in Lee's Summit, Missouri for 17 years and also farmed his own farm. He was an Air Force Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Peculiar, Missouri.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by one brother, Samuel J. Orr of Peculiar, Missouri; one sister, Joyce M. Armintrout of Harrisonville, Missouri, and three nieces.
