Central Missouri man arrested for promoting child pornography

The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control announces the arrest of Mickie A. Dominis, 30, of Warrensburg, Missouri, for promoting child pornography.

Mr. Dominis was arrested on July 28, 2016, after a lengthy investigation conducted by members of the Division of Drug and Crime Control’s Digital Forensics Investigative Unit.

On Thursday, investigators served a search warrant at Dominis’ residence located on the 500 block of West Young Street, in Warrensburg. As a result of the search, investigators located child pornography and computer equipment used to commit the crime. Dominis was arrested and transported to the Johnson County Jail.

The Johnson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office formally charged Dominis with one count of promoting child pornography 1st degree. Dominis is being held with a $30,000 cash only bond. The Patrol was assisted by officers of the Warrensburg Police Department.

The above arrest is mere accusation and is not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of this charge must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
