The Bates County Sheriff's Office is seeking applications for Dispatch and also for Detention Officers. No experience is necessary. Training will be provided to the right person at the cost of the Sheriff's Office.
You may be required to work nights, weekends and holidays. You must be able to pass a drug screen and a criminal/character background check.
Full time positions have benefits that include health and vision insurance, retirement and vacation/sick time. The starting salary is $10.00 per hour.
After you complete your six month probation your hourly rate will be increased to $11.00 per hour then at your one year anniversary it will increase again to $12.00 per hour.
