Around 3:55pm this afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on Route Y around 1 mile Northeast of Harwood, Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2007 Ford F-150 driven by 49 year old Duane E. Sellers of Schell City, Missouri traveled off the roadway and struck a culvert before overturning.
Mr. Sellers sustained serious injuries in this accident and was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri for treatment.
A passenger in Mr. Sellers vehicle 41 year old Marsha B. Barnes of Schell City, Missouri sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Steward's Auto of Eldorado Springs, Missouri.
