Bates County 4-H members sent 85 exhibits to the Ozark Empire Fair

Bates County 4-H members sent 85 exhibits to the Ozark Empire Fair July 28th -August 6th. Of the 85 exhibits representing our community, we had 4 Grand Champions, including: 

Danielle Bolling of Adrian for her Exploring 4-H project, Allison Jenkins of Butler for her Cake Decorating 4-H project, Blake Doody of Adrian for his 4-H Country Cured Ham and Maylen Lawson of Butler for her 4-H Horse Riding project, as well as 6 Reserve Champions: 

Kristen Chandler of Butler for her 4-H Photography project, Sophie Cummings of Butler for her 4-H Cake Decorating project, Allison Jenkins of Butler for her 4-H Cake Decorating and Canning projects, Jessie Lowe of Adrian for her 4-H Photography project, Makenna Merrifield of Adrian for her 4-H Canning project, Kaylee O’Farrell of Montrose for her 4-H Foods project. 

Bates County also was awarded 67 blue ribbons and 18 red ribbons.
