The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2015 Triumph Motorcycle driven by 47 year old Brian W. Vernon of Belton, Missouri was traveling eastbound when he struck a patch of gravel while negotiating a corner causing him to lose control and travel off the right side of the roadway ejecting the driver.
Mr. Vernon sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by Harrisonville EMS to Research Main Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.
The bike was totaled and towed from the scene by Eckert Tow.
