Arrest made in Henry County school burglary

On Friday, September 23, 2016 Deputy Oaks responded to the Clinton Christian Academy on a report of a burglary. The investigation showed that several food items along with a bass guitar were taken from the school on the evening of September 22, 2016.

A suspect was developed from video surveillance received in the course of the investigation.

The suspects picture was posted on the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page and several tips were received about who the individual may be.

On September 23, 2016, Deputy Lambirth observed the suspect in the area of the Sheriff’s Office and arrested William A. Reynard, age 18, of Iola, Kansas for investigation of burglary 2nd degree.

Reynard was formally charged on Saturday by the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office with burglary 2nd degree with a bond set at $10,000.00. Reynard remains in the Henry County Detention Center.
