Man arrested in St. Clair County on 18 active warrants

On Sept. 11, Aaron Barnes, 30, Weaubleau, was arrested at his residence on SE T Highway on several warrants from multiple jurisdictions. Barnes had a total of 18 active warrants of which 12 were extraditable.

Mr.  Barnes was arrested on two Hickory County warrants charging him with class C felony possessing a controlled substance, class D felony unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and failing to appear in court on a class A misdemeanor charge of tampering with a motor vehicle-second degree. He was arrested on an Independence Police Department warrant charging him with class C felony possessing a controlled substance and class A misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.  

He was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failing to appear in court on an ordinance violation of driving while revoked and eight Jackson County warrants for failing to appear in court on misdemeanor charges. Total bond was set at $34,700.
