Funeral services for Bonnie Lee Burgess will be 2:00 pm, Thursday,
September 8, 2016 at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel in Butler,
Missouri. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Thursday immediately prior to funeral services at the chapel. Contributions in memory of Bonnie Burgess in lieu of flowers may be given to the Butler Library or House of Hound. Online condolences may be sent to www.schowengerdtchapel.com.
Bonnie Lee Burgess died September 2, 2016 at the Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Bonnie was born December 15, 1929 in Rich Hill, Missouri the daughter of Jesse Nyle Schofield and Lida Mae Scofield.
Bonnie is survived by daughter Frances Jones of Richards, Missouri also five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband James "Buck" Burgess; son James Burgess and two brothers Donald Ray Scofield and Charles Smith
