Overnight fire destroys Archie sale barn

A total loss- the Archie Livestock Auction facility
located just east of Archie MO 

Late yesterday evening fire crews from Cass and Bates counties were summoned to the Archie Livestock Auction barn located just east on B highway.

Upon arrival the building was found to be totally engulfed, leaving little to be saved.

Flames were visible from quite a distance on I-49 in both directions. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
