On 10/10/16 around 6:49am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Benton County along with Benton County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle fatality accident on Southbound Missouri 7 Highway at Walter Avenue.The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2016 Ford driven by 58 year old Denise I. Robertson of Camdenton, Missouri crossed over the center line of the roadway and struck the 2007 Ford driven by 58 year old Carrie B. Clinton of Windsor, Missouri head on.
Carrie B. Clinton was pronounced dead at 7:10am and she was transported to Resner Davis -Miller Funeral home in Warsaw.
Denise I. Robertson sustained serious injuries in this accident and she was transported to University Hospital for treatment.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Tolliver's Tow. This is Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 56th Fatality crash of 2016.
