Early morning fire destroys Butler home

Shortly before 6 am today Butler fire and mutual aid from other agencies were called to 801 W. Pine street in Butler on a report of a house fire. 

Police were called to the same location on a report of a disturbance; it is not known if the two instances are directly related.

Upon arrival the house was fully involved in fire which has resulted in the structure possibly being a total loss.

More information is expected to be released from Butler Fire Chief Jim Henry in the near future.
