Lamar Tigers to play for 6th straight state football championship

The Lamar Tigers will be playing for their sixth consecutive state title after rolling by Brentwood 62-19 in the state semifinals yesterday.

Lamar will now face Trinity Catholic who is also unbeaten after defeating Lawson 45-29 in the semifinals.

The game between Lamar and Trinity Catholic will be for the Class 2 State Football Title and it will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 25 in Springfield at Plaster Stadium.
