Ada was a born care taker for the elderly and disabled. She worked for Nevada Habilitation Center and several nursing homes over the years. She considered the people under her care her family, and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them. After retiring as a C.N.A., you could still find her visiting and checking on those dear to her.
Ada is survived by her daughter, Tiffani Mather and husband Eric, and two granddaughters, Ashley and Hayley of Nevada, MO; daughter, Sandy Rumore of Arizona and five grandchildren, Anthony, Saleen, Leticia, Veronica, and Amanda; son, William “Bud” Weber and wife Toni, and one granddaughter Kailynn of Oklahoma; her brothers James Ayers of Gladstone, MO; Cecil Ayers and wife Linda of Springfield, MO; John Ayers of Hermitage, MO; Robert Ayers and wife Rosalea of Cortez, CO; Dennis Ayers of Kansas City, MO; Dan Ayers and wife Linda of Olathe, KS; and one sister Linda Russell of Onaga, KS and several aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Ayers and her son Thomas Ayers.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada for friends and family. A private service will be held at a later date for family.
