John Robert Scifers

John Robert Scifers, 37 of Sheldon, passed away at his home following a short period of illness. John was born March 20, 1979 in Jackson County, MO, the son of Robert Eugene and Ruby Sharon (Rees) Scifers. He graduated from High School. He liked to fish, play video games and watch wrestling on television. 

He was a member of the Sheldon City Council. John is survived by a son, Nathaniel Lee Scifers of Pittsburg, KS. He is also survived by other family including an uncle, Thomas Duvall of Shawnee, KS.

Graveside Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Sheldon Cemetery with Pastor Jarod Lamb officiating. Interment will follow in the Sheldon Cemetery.
