Margaret was born November 2, 1938 in Boonville, Missouri the daughter of William Roger and Lola Viola (Hill) Sartain. Margaret was a waitress in a restaurant for many years. She enjoyed country music line dancing, playing piano, and volunteer work. She was a member of the Eagles Club and Old Fellows Club and was also a foster parent.
She was preceded in death her parents, three husbands; Jerry Dale Childers, Marion Cross, and Bob Bailey, four brothers, three daughters; Tyra Young, Tammy Childers, and Treva Childers, one son; Terry Childers, and one grandson; Craig Courtney.
Among survivors are her son; Tony Cross of Kansas City, MO, daughter; Tracy Myears (Ernie) of Lake Andes South Dakota, nine brothers, two sisters, nine grandchildren; Christopher Young, Kaylon Childers, Katy Childers, Kristen Childers, Brandon Myears, Sherry Myears, Sydney Myears, Dillion Cross, Kimberly Cross, six great grandchildren, one great great-grandson, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
