Melvin Lee Fairman, age 81 of Ballard, Missouri died Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Missouri. He was born August 1, 1935 to Cleo and Joycie Velma Ewing Fairman in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Melvin is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Etta Sue Fairman of Ballard, Missouri; two sons, Alan Fairman and wife Linda of Ballard, Missouri and Darryl Fairman and wife Michelle of Peculiar, Missouri; two daughters, Susan Wainscott and husband Chuck of Raymore, Missouri and Lisa Smith and husband Bret of Acampo, California; one brother, Marvin Fairman and wife MaryAnn of Highland Village, Texas; 13 grandchildren, Julie Guffey and husband Lance of Ballard, Missouri, Jason Fairman and wife Cara of Adrian, Missouri, Lindsey Kalivoda and husband Cody of Overland Park, Kansas, Tyler Wainscott and wife Danielle of Raymore, Missouri, Cameron Wainscott and wife Audrianna of Belton, Missouri, Connor and Madison Wainscott of Raymore, Missouri, Kyle Smith and wife Lacy of New Bern, North Carolina, Caleb Smith and wife Falynne and Kelsey Smith of Acampo, California, and Brooks, McKenzie and Jace Fairman of Peculiar, Missouri; and 13 great-grandchildren, Shelby, Riley, Kaden and Greyson Guffey, Anna and Cara Fairman, Kinsley, Emberlyn and Delaney Wainscott, Kellan Wainscott and Gracie, Paisley and Bailey Smith; and a host of family and friends.
