St. Clair County Sheriff's Office Warrant Arrests

On Nov. 17, Justin Johnson, 21, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with with three counts of class C felony arson second degree. Bond is set at $30,000 cash only. The charges stem from investigation that started on Sept. 16 when St. Clair County deputies were called to three suspicious fires in the Taberville area. Deputies took initial reports and the investigations were turned over to the Missouri State Fire Marshal.
On Nov. 15, Haydee Smith, 18, El Dorado Springs, was arrested on St. Clair County warrant charging her with an unclassified misdemeanor of minor visibly intoxicated and two class B misdemeanor charges of property damage-second degree. Bond is set at $1,500 cash or surety. The Missouri State Highway Patrol made the arrest in St. Clair County. The charges stems from an incident on Feb. 3 when a traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle she was a passenger in on NW 1501 Road, Appleton City. During the investigation a breath test indicated a positive presence of alcohol on Smith’s breath. During the investigation Smith was taken into custody and placed in the front passenger seat of the patrol vehicle. Throughout the incident, Smith continuously kicked the dash and banged her head on the window causing damage to a GPS unit mount and the power outlet on the center console. Total damage was estimated at which is valued at $694. Smith was originally charged with the crimes in April and the charges were later dismissed by the prosecutor. On Nov. 9, the charges were refilled with the court.
On Nov. 15, Shawn Hughes, 28, Springfield, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on a class A misdemeanor charge of non support. Bond is set at $200 cash only.
