Lanette was born August 18, 1990 in Clinton, Missouri to William Thomas Bailey and Alice Fay Wassam Bailey. She was united in marriage to Joshua Jones. She worked for the MO Highway Department in Sedalia, Missouri for five years. Lanette enjoyed being with kids, playing games, taking care of her grandmother, mom and dad, and attending church at Soul’s Harbor Worship Center. She is remembered as having a big heart.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather; Shandy Bailey Sr., maternal grandfather; Charles Wassam, aunt; Virginia Bailey, and cousins; Clifford Bailey, infant Larry Dean Bailey, and Natalie Nicole Burke.
Among survivors are her spouse; Joshua Jones, son; Bryan Bailey, parents; William and Alice Bailey, all of the home, brothers; Donny Bailey of Calhoun, Missouri and Howard Bailey of Windsor, Missouri, paternal grandmother Marian Bailey, and maternal grandmother Mildred Wassam as well as many nieces, nephews and family members.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
