Obituary - Shirley Ann Snorgrass

Shirley Ann (Nichols) Snorgrass of Windsor, Missouri, age 47 years, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Missouri.  

Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Parks Chapel Cemetery, Tightwad, Missouri.

Shirley was born February 17, 1969 in Clinton, Missouri the daughter of Frank Hugh Nichols and Mary Ethel (Jones) Nichols.  She married John Snorgrass on June 11, 1988 at Good Hope Baptist Church, and they were blessed with three children.  Shirley worked several jobs to help support her family over the years.  She always seemed to stick with two careers, cooking and hospital billing.  She owned her own restaurant which she loved very much.  Shirley enjoyed hanging out with the "girls" and spending time with her grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her father, Frank Hugh Nichols, mother-in-law, Lily Irene Snorgrass, and father-in-laws; Murrel Zollicker and Jack Snorgrass.

Survivors include her husband, John Snorgrass, of the home, 3 children; Mary Cooper and fiancé, Joseph Thurman, Matthew Snorgrass and wife, Jessica, and Makayla Terry and husband, Shelby Terry, Jr., all of Windsor, Missouri, 4 grandchildren; Carley Thurman, Jayden Lynn Cooper, Aubrey Grace Terry, and Remington John Gage Terry, her mother, Mary Ethel Nichols, her sister, Debbie Kay Nuss and husband, Teddy Allen "Buck", as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
