Walter grew up in Nevada. He worked in the Nevada area throughout his life doing odd jobs. Walter enjoyed riding horses, and going to cattle and horse sales. He also enjoyed riding bulls in his younger years.
Survivors include a special friend, Patricia Puckett and her husband Roy, Nevada; Aunt Hazel; several nieces and nephews; and special friends.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
