The 25th annual Montrose Festival is May 26 - 28. Friday evening will be the Old Timers baseball game at the park as well as the Glow Run 5K and Montrose Mile. Saturday will start with breakfast at the VFW (with lunch later), bake sales, car show, food stands and more.
The baby shows start at 9:00. For the kids, Sprinkles the clown will be back, as well as bounce houses, inflatables, train rides, laser tag and kids games. All kids games and events are free for children, everyone gets to play. Dusti’s Dance Academy will perform at 10:30, followed by the announcement of this year's Home Town Hero at 12:50. The parade begins at 1:00 p.m. with registration at the Montrose High School. Following the parade will the annual Fried Chicken Dinner.
The Scavenger Hunt starts at 2:30 p.m. For your evening pleasure, the "Danny Brown and BJ band and later, Big Mijit will be rocking the night away. The gutter party breakfast starts at 11:00 p.m. On Sunday, there will be a teenager scavenger hunt at 4:30 p.m. with fireworks and music from 8:00 – midnight.
