Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Cullen Funeral Home in Raymore.
Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 26, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial and Military Honors will take place at the Raymore Cemetery.
Andrew was born on November 30, 1940 in Pettus, Texas. He was the son of Pedro Aguirre and Tomasa Caballero Aguirre. Andrew proudly served his country in the Army from July 26, 1961 to July 25, 1963. Andrew was the founder and owner of A&A Fire & Safety and he dedicated his life to the business for over 33 years. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Peculiar. It has been said without a doubt that Andrew loved his kids and family more than anything else on this earth.
Andrew was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Wochner; grandson, Tommy Volz; his parents, Pedro and Tomasa Caballero; and nine siblings.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years (January 1, 1991), Julie (Johnson) Aguirre of the home; children, Nancy Majors, Brenda Ross (Mike), Andrew Aguirre, Josh Hamlin (Danielle), Whitney Slenker (Charlie); brothers, Raul Aguirre (Amada), and Jose Aguirre (Esther); sister, Victoria Arenas (Vicente). 16 grandchildren, Phillip, Maria, Lydia, Olivia, Garrett, Jackson, Felicia, Christian, Alexis, Cruz, Lily, Peyton, Noah, Paxton, Travis, and Colton.
