Eight people injured in rollover accident in Henry County

Eight people were injured in a one-vehicle accident on June 14 in Henry County on Route M, three-tenths of a mile east of County Road NW 201 in Henry County.

Pablo A. Herrera-Sanchez, 26, Alden, IA, wearing a seat belt, westbound in a 2013 Ford, traveled off the roadway. 

The vehicle struck a fence and a tree. Subsequently, the vehicle overturned multiple times and came to a rest on its wheels in a field.

Pablo A. Herrera-Sanchez, experienced moderate injuries and was transported by Golden Valley EMS to Golden Valley Hospital. His vehicle was totaled and removed from the scene by Golden valley Wrecker. 

Transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton:
  • Alex D. Gonzalez-Celleli, 19, Alden, IA, not wearing a seat belt, moderate injuries.
  • Jose G. Diaz-Garcia, 22, Alden, IA, not wearing a seat belt, moderate injuries.
  • Juan D. Garcia-Garcia, 20, Alden, IA, not wearing a seat belt, moderate injuries.
Transported by Golden Valley EMS to the Western Missouri Medical Center were:
  • Edgar Fuentes, 33, Alden, IA, wearing a seat belt, moderate injuries.
  • Jamie Hinostroza-Galvan, 45, Alden, IA, wearing a seat belt, moderate injuries.
Transported by Johnson County EMS to Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri was:
  • Victor A. Barboza-Hernandez, 31, Alden, IA sustained moderate injuries.
  • Manuel C. Barboza-Hernandez, 24, Alden, IA, not wearing a seat belt, moderate injuries.
Missouri Highway Patrol Sergeant W.P. Bremer investigated the accident and was assisted by the Henry County Sheriff’s Department.
