Nevada Police Arrest Two During Drug Search Warrant

On June 6, 2017 Nevada Police executed a search warrant in the 100 block of West Austin Blvd after obtaining information one of the residents there was selling illegal narcotics.

After obtaining this information, officers conducted follow ups and were able to determine that the suspect was currently being supervised on probation for a prior drug offense from the State of Rhode Island.

Nevada Police were able to obtain a search warrant for the residence where the suspect was staying. Officers also received information that a subject with a Vernon County warrant was inside the home.

During the initial contact, Nevada Police located both subjects in question inside the residence. The subject with the active warrant was placed under arrest and transported to the Vernon County Jail for holding.

During the search officers seized suspected methamphetamine, opioids, drug paraphernalia and electronics used in the furtherance of narcotics distribution

Nevada Police took into custody a second male subject and he was transported to the Vernon County Jail for holding.

The wanted subject inside the residence was identified as Christopher X. Maslow, age 28 of Nevada. The narcotics suspect has been identified Peter J.N. Pond, age 34 of Nevada. Pond has been charged through the Vernon County Associate Court with the following charges;

Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Felony C
Possession of a Controlled Substance, Felony D
Pond was given a cash bond of $10,000.
