On June 6, 1951, Dorothy married Bernard Moore. To this union two children were born: Randy Moore and Kenny Moore. Dorothy loved her husband of 53 years. She was a kind hearted woman who would have helped anyone in need. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma. She made sure she taught her children to put others first and treat others with respect and kindness. She missed her husband Bernard and grandson Chad very much.
Dorothy was an excellent chef, quilter, and gardener. She loved to go out in her garden even if it was 100 degrees outside. She was a model to her family and friends. She showed us that we could be who we were and still be loved and cared for.
Dorothy would spend every Sunday at noon with her son Randy, eating Sunday lunch. She loved going with her sisters to Branson where they would spend time together trying not to get into any trouble.
