Jeremy Wayne Houk, age 42 years, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. Private family burial.

Jeremy was born March 11, 1975 in Clinton, Missouri the son of Donald Wayne and Nora Louise (Davis) Houk. He lived in Tightwad all his life. Jeremy attended Leesville R-9 grade school. He was loved by all who met him. When he was not raising cattle for Nichols Farms he loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time on the farm in Arkansas. When he had time he loved to read about history. Every night after work he would make his circle, checking on everyone. Jeremy loved children and children loved him. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by many.
Jeremy was preceded in death by grandfather, Carl Houk; grandparents, O.D. and Edith Davis, a nephew, Brody Michael Houk, and an uncle, Ron Houk.
He is survived by his parents, Wayne Houk, Louise Houk (Rob), 4 brothers; David Houk (Cindy), Carl Houk (Jessica), Jeff Houk (Trisha), and Brian Houk, his grandmother, Faye Houk, nieces and nephews; John, Leah and husband Austin, James, Preston, Natalie, and Wrangler, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends.
The family would like to ask that if you have special pictures with Jeremy to please bring them to add to a memory board that will be displayed at the visitation.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
