Texas woman injured in Bates County Accident

On 6/12/17 around 11:55am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County responded to a two vehicle accident on County Road 14001 and County Road 16002 in rural Bates County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2012 Ford Fiesta driven by 59 year old Bettye F. Fletcher of Galveston, Texas failed to yield and struck the 2013 Ford F-150 driven 50 year old Jeremy L. Boatman.

Bettye F. Fletcher sustained moderate injuries in this accident and she was transported by private vehicle to Miami County Kansas Hospital.

Adrian Tow was dispatched to tow the Ford Fiesta which was totaled in this accident.
