The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1987 Ford driven by 43 year old Michael W. Brawley struck a large portion of a tree that had fallen across the roadway.
Mr. Brawley was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by Bates County Coroner Greg D. Mullinax on 6/21/17 at 12:31pm. The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Adrian Tow.
