Barbara Ann Krupinski

Barbara Ann Krupinski, 87, Nevada, MO passed away on Friday, July 07, 2017 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin. Barbara was born February 13, 1930 in Bronson, KS to Harvey C. and Myrtle L. (Ebert) Eastwood. On March 18, 1950 she married William Joel Pruitt in Fort Scott, KS and he preceded her in death on December 10, 2001.

Barbara was raised in the Bronson area and attended school in Neosho. For a number of years she lived in the Fort Scott area prior to moving to Nevada in 1961. Barbara worked at Nellie Don in Nevada for over 20 years as a seamstress and later at Nevada City Hospital until her retirement. 

She provided foster care for many children in Vernon County. Barbara was an avid seamstress, she loved her children and grandchildren very much and provided for them when possible.

She is survived by three daughters, Jo Sisseck, Nevada, Betty Christiansen, Springfield, MO, Debra Sisseck, Hugoton, KS; two sons, William Pruitt and his wife Connie, Nevada, and Patrick Ogle, Nevada; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her husband Joe, she is preceded in death by her son, John L. Pruitt; four brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery in Nevada. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home.
