Ret. USAF Master Sgt. Donald Ray Riggs, 74, Harrisonville, Missouri departed this life on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the St. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri surrounded by love and family.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Riggs of the home; two sons, David Riggs and wife Mitzi, Orlando, Oklahoma, Nathan Riggs, Creighton, Missouri; a daughter, Jessica Johnson and husband Steve, Peculiar, Missouri; 5 grandchildren, Leon Riggs and wife Hope, Echo DeMaranville, Eli Riggs, Grace Riggs and Aubree Riggs; a brother, David G. Riggs and wife Mary, Tomahawk, Wisconsin; two sisters, Jeane Schulze and husband Fred, Madison, Wisconsin, Annette Nelson and husband Lee, Lacrosse, Wisconsin; other relatives and many friends.

Cremation. A Military Graveside Inurnment will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Dayton Cemetery near Garden City, Missouri.

There will be a family and friends gathering at the Garden City, Missouri Community Building following the service.
