Tai Chi Tuesdays at the Butler Museum

The Museum happily announces that for six weeks we will be hosting Tai Chi Tuesdays in Robertson Hall at 7:00 pm each week.

Beginning Tuesday, July 11th and going through August 15th, Dr. James (Rusty) Womelduff, (Adrian chiropractor) will lead the class. A seasoned Tai Chi Instructor, Rusty has led classes in Adrian for the past several years and has conducted corporate class instruction as well.

Tai Chi is an ancient slow-moving martial art that is designed to increase balance, strengthen inner core muscles, and is gentle on joints. It is the perfect exercise for people of all ages. Rusty is also well known for his humor and is an advocate for laughter! His classes are good for both body and soul.

A $5.00 per class donation is suggested, with $2.00 of that amount going to the Museum. If you cannot make it to every class, don’t worry. Come when you can and you will still be able to fit right in! Wear loose fitting clothing and comfortable shoes (or even your sock feet.) Join in the fun! Relax. Prepare to encounter and enjoy this beautiful, fluid, slow, centered, exercise that has been practiced for thousands of years.

We hope to see you and your friends & family at Tai Chi Tuesdays!

Museum Program Schedule Change: The program originally scheduled for July 15th has been cancelled. The KC Irish Center guest speaker, Renata Rua, will be in Ireland. She received a grant for furthering her studies of the Gaelic language. There are no plans for rescheduling in 2017.
