Update: Truck driver injured in Bates County rollover accident

On 7/5/17 around 4:08 pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County, Bates County Sheriff's Deputies and Butler Fire Department responded to a one vehicle semi truck rollover accident off the Northbound lane of I-49 and onto the outer road around Possum Branch and Mile Marker 127.2

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2017 Peterbilt driven by 57 year old Katherine A. Boling of Macomb, Missouri had a equipment malfunction and traveled off the roadway striking a guard rail and overturning.

Katherine A. Boling sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported by ambulance to Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler for treatment.

The semi truck was totaled and towed from the scene by J's Southland Tow.
