Wild police chase ends in Bates County

The Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies just ended a high speed chase at the intersection of Wright Road and 52 West Highway.

The pursuit started when a silver Nissan 350z who was registered to a female from Fair View, Missouri refused to yield for officers on I-49 and a chase followed onto Missouri 52 West Highway and eventually onto K Highway. 

Two subjects were taken into custody after hitting spike strips and crashing the vehicle into a ditch. 

Bates County EMS responded to the scene to check out the driver and passenger. The male driver was transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.
