Scam Alert: We have seen an increase in reports of phone scams involving customers’ utility bills and other personal information, including both residential and business customers.

Scammers will often ask customers for immediate payment to settle account balances over the phone with a pre-paid debit card.

If you aren’t sure you’re speaking to a KCP&L representative, it’s best to be safe. Hang up and call us! #StopScams
