Doris was born on September 8, 1929 to Marvin A. Kaiser and Mary Grace ‘Garrett’ Kaiser of Clinton, MO. After graduating from Clinton High School, she attended Central Missouri State Teacher’s College in Warrensburg, MO for one year. She married Jack Ikenberry on June 25, 1949. Doris was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a member of the Golden Valley Quilters’ Guild and an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Clinton.
Survivors include her son, Kevin Ikenberry (Kristin); two daughters, Karen Santimore (Andrew) and Kelly Ikenberry; five grandchildren, Kathryn Ford (Bart), Caleb Ikenberry, Christian Ikenberry, Calvin Ikenberry, and Claire Ikenberry; one great-grandchild, Eleanor Ford; two brothers, Wendell Kaiser and Don Kaiser (Betty); several other family members and a host of friends.
Preceding Doris in death were her parents; her husband, and a brother, Kenneth Kaiser.
The family will receive visitors at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Consalus Funeral Home, Clinton. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM with interment following at Englewood Cemetery.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the First Presbyterian Church and left in care of Consalus Funeral Home, 209 S. 2nd St., Clinton, MO 64735.
