On Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 10:13 a.m. the Butler Fire Department was dispatched to 308 West Chestnut street for a reported structure fire.
Units arrived on scene and found fire coming from the rear of the structure.
The house was a total loss and the Cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
The Butler Fire Department was assisted by the Butler Police Department, Bates County EMS and the Rich Hill Fire assisted. There were no injuries.
