Two vehicle accident in St. Clair County

On 10/21/17 around 1:00pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in St. Clair County responded to a two vehicle accident at Missouri 13 Highway at Lowry City.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2003 Volvo S80 driven by 18 year old James A. Hughes of Deepwater, Missouri failed to yield at a stop sign and struck the 2008 Chevrolet 3500 driven by 28 year old John W. Lysinger of Lowry City.

Mr. Hughes sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.

Both vehicle were totaled and towed from the scene by Bray's Tow of Osceola, Missouri.
