Obituary - Barbara Jean (Clark) Stoneking

Barbara Jean (Clark) Stoneking was born on February 21, 1939 in Houston, Texas. She was the first child of two children born to S.E. Regional Clark and Ruby Lee Clark. She attended Elementary school in Houston and later on go her GED. 

She accepted Jesus Christ into her life and was a member of the Norris Methodist Church, Blairstown, Mo. for around 40 years. She passed away, Sunday, November 19, 2017, at the age of 79 years, 8 months & 19 days at her home in Norris surrounded by her family.

Barbara married Addison Eber Richards. To this union 4 children were born, Steven Mark, Janet Lee, and Twin girls Carrie Ann and Sherry Lynn. On April 1, 1978, she married Kenneth Wayne Stoneking, and they were married 39 1/2 years.

She was proceeded in death by her twin daughters Carrie Ann and Sherry Lynn, and son Steven Mark, also her parents S.E.R. and Ruby Clark. Grandson Kirk Stewart, Granddaughter Angelia Marie Locke, Justin Wayne Locke.

Surviving are her husband Kenneth Wayne, children Janet Lee Davidson (Ray), Kelly Ann Wenninghoff (Jim), Shelli Lynn Cooney (Mike) and Jeffery Wayne Stoneking (Lisa).

Surviving 7 Grandchildren, Shawn Michael, James David, Laura Ann, Heather Ann, Dustin Paul (Leah), Larry Wayne and Jerry Wayne. 18 Great Grandchildren, Michael Shawn, Max Shawn, Jacob Shawn, Jonah Shawn, Jace Shawn, William Ryan, Alexander James, Gabriel Everett and a Grand Baby on the way, Kasey Jo, Haley Ann, Anthony Vincent, Brodie, Alexis, Dually, Chevy, Diassia, Shaddell, and one sister Joann.

Barbara was active in her community all of her life. She was known as a great cook, always taking food to church, family and neighbors. Barbara will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Hospice workers came and helped Barbara in her last days and her family is so grateful.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton and will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 2 Pm with visitation one hour prior to service at the Norris Methodist Church in Norris, Mo. 

Burial will be at Carpenter Cemetery, Chilhowee, MO. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Diabetes Association and may be left in care of the funeral home.
