Funny money floating around Vernon County

In the last week Nevada Police have responded to several locations in regards to subjects attempting to pass counterfeit currency. 

We are currently seeking criminal charges against several people for passing counterfeit money to local businesses.

If you are taking in cash please verify its authenticity before completing the transaction. We also recommend using a counterfeit pen to help prevent these types of incidents from happening.
